Schiffman does an excellent job in this book outlining top sales strategies for new sales people in addition to making it an excellent review audio of the top sales techniques. All sales people would do well and further their careers if they chose to take action on these quality sales strategies.
When I first started listening to The 25 Sales Strategies That Will Boost Your Sales Today, I was immediately reminded of a past CEO I had the pleasure to work for. He had told me time and time again that he had risen to the top of every company he had worked for by asking the right questions and actively listening to customers and their needs. That is exactly what Schiffman preaches. Who knows my previous CEO might have hooked up with Schiffman in the past considering he has conducted thousands of sales training seminars over the years.
The other sales strategy Schiffman talks about is prospecting continually for new customers. You can’t just stay with the status quo. He gives very effective, detailed information on how to be successful conducting cold calls, in addition to how to use upper management effectively. He superbly understands and describes the selling cycle, and how you should engage at each turn.
No dry, boring, stuffy talk here, just genuine sales advice on how to ask the right questions to find out what the customer needs, build a strong relationship and make sure your product fits the customers’ needs. Once you do that, closing the sale is just a matter of agreement. If you are in any part of the sales cycle, sales training, or even customer service, you should listen to this audio book. You will walk away with a treasure chest of knowledge. The big bonus… Mike Ferreri does an excellent job narrating.
