Mix one mischievous kid and one crotchety old grandmother plus a naïve mother and an entrepreneurial father and you have the recipe for disastrous fun especially when penned by Roald Dahl.
George’s Marvelous Medicine is a fun story about a young boy left alone to care for his elderly grandmother while his mother runs some errands in town. George’s grandmother is always cranky and crotchety, but when George is with her by himself she gets just plain downright mean with him verbally. George of course notices this difference in his grandmother but is afraid his parents won’t believe him. So this particular morning George decides to take matters into his own hands and create his own special medicine for his less than caring, less than wonderful grandmother.
The concoction he whips up looks like her regular medicine, but it has much, much different effects on her. Much different and much, much more than he expected. His grandmother is truly a changed person. When his mother returns she is completely beside herself with what has happened to grandmother and what George has done.
However, George’s father has a completely different take on the situation. He thinks it will be a great way to make the family rich if only he can get George to remember exactly what all ingredients he put in the concoction he had specially made for grandmother.
Download George’s Marvelous Medicine now and then sit back, relax and prepare for Roald Dahl to take you on a wonderful ride of adventure and mischievous fun.
