When books start out right in the middle of a thick, juicy plot, I know they are going to be good. Those are my favorite kind, especially suspense crime drama novels. That is just how Sandra Brown starts out this book, capturing your attention right away.
She then winds through the intricate details allowing you to personally get to know each character in the book. However, with all the twists and turns of details and events, I found myself going back and forth between; is it her? is it him? Just who is the victim and who is the perpitrator?
There's murder, lying, good old fashioned crime scene investigating, and of course, hot, steamy romance in the typical Sandra Brown fashion. A little bit for everyone I'd say.
