Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Novel: What’s the Difference Between the Abridged Version and the Full Novel?
I would love to purchase the audiobook form iTunes, but I do not know how much difference between the abridged version and the actual novel (unabridged version) there is. The abridged version, by definition, contains less, but I would like to know whether it is close enough to the actual book to be OK, or if it would just be a waste of my time and money.
To summarize, could someone please tell me what all is missing from the abridged version that is there in the original novel?
NO … the “abridged versions” of any book are NOT worth getting ESPECIALLY Star Wars books … I would guess that they leave out at least a third of the stuff that is in the unabridged version and with Star Wars books that’s a lot of stuff. I once bought the “abridged version” of a SW book titled “Vision of the Future” … one of the biggest parts of the book was Luke asking Mara Jade to marry him and the abridged version didn’t even have it in it.
As for a “summary” of what’s in it and what’s in the book … get real dude … buy the book and find out for yourself.
